Published starting prices, and a fixed fee before we begin.

Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute scoping call and ends with a written, fixed-fee quote. The prices below are where each service starts; your quote depends on the size and shape of what we test.

A tailor in round glasses measures the waist of a dress form shaped like a browser window, with folded fabric, pins, and scissors on the table.

How a fixed fee gets set

We price by scope, not by the hour. On a free 30-minute scoping call, we look at your site together, ask which journeys matter most, and find out what is driving the work: a deadline, a demand letter, a procurement request, or a redesign. Within two business days, you receive a written quote with a fixed fee, the templates and journeys in scope, the assistive technology we will use, the deliverables, and a timeline.

The fee doesn't change unless the scope does. If you want to add a journey or a platform partway through, we send a written change with its price before doing the work, and you decide.

The starting prices on this page are real starting points. A small site with a handful of templates often lands at or near them. Larger estates, logged-in applications, and multiple platforms cost more, for the reasons in the table below.

What moves the number

Five things account for nearly every difference between a starting price and a final quote.

Factors that change the price of an engagement, why they matter, and an example of each
FactorWhy it mattersExample
Unique templatesWe test each distinct layout by hand. A thousand product pages built from one template count once.Home, category, product, cart, and checkout are five templates, however many products you sell.
Critical journeysEach end-to-end task is tested from start to finish with every screen reader in scope.Guest checkout, account creation, and returns are three journeys.
PlatformsEach platform has its own assistive technology and its own test pass.A website plus iOS and Android apps is three test environments.
Logged-in areasAuthenticated areas need test accounts, realistic data, and often a staging environment, and they hold the most complex components.A patient portal, online banking, or a SaaS admin console.
DeadlinesA compressed timeline means more analysts working in parallel and tighter coordination with your team.A demand-letter response due within days, or a procurement review next month.

Every starting price, in one place

All of our engagements, with the starting price and what that price includes. Document remediation is priced per page, and Baclion Watch per month.

Every engagement includes

  • A free 30-minute scoping call and a written fixed-fee quote within two business days
  • One lead analyst as your point of contact from kickoff to delivery
  • Evidence for every finding: the criterion, the location, what we observed, and with which tool
  • A plain-English summary for executives and code-level guidance for developers
  • Findings delivered in your issue tracker or a spreadsheet, whichever you prefer
  • A readout meeting where we walk through the results and answer questions
  • No production personal data, ever; we work with staging access and test accounts

Payment terms, in plain English

Fixed-fee projects are invoiced 50% at kickoff and 50% at delivery, with payment due net 15. Delivery means the report, pull requests, or documents named in your quote have been handed over; it doesn't depend on when your team ships the fixes.

Baclion Watch is billed monthly. You can cancel with 30 days' notice, and the monitoring history and reports you have received stay yours.

Public entities can pay by purchase order. We are happy to complete vendor registration forms, a W-9, and proof of insurance as part of onboarding.

Pricing questions

Do you offer discounts for public entities and nonprofits?

Yes. Public entities, such as cities, counties, school districts, and public colleges, and nonprofit organizations receive 10% off fixed-fee projects. The discount appears as its own line on your quote, so it is easy to document for procurement.

Can we sign a multi-year Baclion Watch agreement?

Yes. A multi-year agreement suits organizations whose budgets or grants run longer than a year, and we can align the term with your fiscal calendar. Ask about it on the scoping call and we will include the terms in your quote.

What does "starting at" mean?

It is the fee for the smallest scope we offer, described next to each price. For example, the audit starts at $4,800 for up to 15 unique templates and two critical journeys. If your scope fits inside that description, that is your price; if it is larger, your quote explains exactly what adds cost.

Do you charge by the hour?

Not for projects. Fixed fees put the estimating risk on us and make approval easier on your side. If something comes up outside the agreed scope, we quote it in writing before doing it.

Is the scoping call really free?

Yes, and there is no obligation. If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will say so on the call.

Tell us what your website needs to do.

Send a link and a sentence about your deadline. You will hear back from a person within one business day, usually with a short list of questions and a proposed scope.
